Networking in UNITY to express Christ’s LOVE to our Community

LifeCare Faith-Based Network is the “Network Hub”
linking ministries in the Faith-Based Community
together for multiple purposes.

LifeCare has Four (4) major facets as the MISSION of
The Douglas County Evangelical Fellowship (DCEF).
DCEF is comprised of over fifty (50) area churches.
As a “Bridge” to each other, social services organizations and the people in our city, LifeCare focuses on the following main areas.

1. Our Collaborative Counseling Team is the part of LifeCare that trains professionals, lay counselors and volunteers to provide a continuum of care to help heal the brokenhearted with hope and compassion so people in our city learn how to Experience and Extend Love. 541.673.1293 Extension 13 for Pastor Debbie
Counseling makes Christ known through the caring ministry of Reconciliation.
(2 Cor. 5:18-19)

2.  Our Central Network Ministry Hub is the part of LifeCare that increases the effectiveness and productivity of area churches and ministries as we join together in unity as the City Church. Using a shared web-based ‘Office’ we have a database that facilitates our ministry coordination as the 'City Church'.  We manage resources, inventories and services to assist people with needs.  Our Ministry Hub allows us to coordinate calendars, events and seminars; manage distribution of benevolence services; and track volunteers and ministry outcomes.

Networking makes Christ known through our Unity.
(John 17:21-23)

3. Our
Home Mission Field in Douglas County needs hundreds of volunteers to assist Social Service Organizations in meeting the needs of people in our city that are not otherwise connected to a church.  This is the part of LifeCare that works directly with the secular community through a referral program.  The social service agencies ask to send their clients and patients to LifeCare (the City Church) for assistance, ministry and services. To meet the many needs of our County successfully, requires all area churches working together.

Home Missions make Christ known through our Love.
(John 13:34-35)

4. Our
Relationship Training Seminars prepare volunteers to meet the needs of LifeCare, themselves and others using healthy relationship skills and an agreed upon foundation.  This is the part of LifeCare that helps train the volunteers and community members on various topics that help improve our relationships, our ministry efforts and our unity with one another.  As we grow in our ability to work together for the good of our entire city, Christ is made more visible.  We hope to assist people in discovering and using their unique God created design and destiny.  As we become better equipped to care for ourselves and for others we can go forth in the community to minister using healthy mentoring relationships.  Training helps establish and maintain love, unity and healthy relationships for the advancement of the Kingdom of God in our city.
